Day Trip in Dubai [part 2]

Entry kali ini sambungan dari Dubai Day Trip [part 1]. So lepas tido dan freshen up, kami btol bertolak ke padang pasir di Dubai. At 3.30pm sharp, representative dari FunToursDubai pon datang to pick us at the hotel lobby. Agak lama jugak lah perjalanan nak ke desert ni, dalam satu jam sengah camtu gak lah..dan sepanjang perjalanan tu disajikan permandangan padang pasir yang macam takde penghujungnya hehee..

mula-mula diorang ni drop us kat satu desert safari ini and kasi kitaorang round2 dalam sejam kat sini. Tapi semua kene bayar sendiri lah, boleh main ATV, and camel riding gak kat sini. Ade jugak convenient store tuk beli air dan makanan ringan.

Then, we went to the another desert safari, this one was much more interesting lah sebab dia located kat dalam ceruk padang pasir. So mase mula2 nak masuk tu ade gak lah sikit dune bashing sebab jalan nak ke dalam padang pasir memang mencabar sikit (kalau ade anak kecik, sila pastikan diaorang pakai seatbelt or hold them tight), pakai 4x4 je boleh pas, and I was told that only emirati yang ade license je boleh drive people ke dalam desert, bukan boleh suka2 gais.

so inilah dia desert safari, lepas ditunjukkan tempat duduk kami, kami diberi roti inti sayur dan air. tempat duduk tu ade meja panjang and duduk bersila atas cushion, and kat tengah2 tu ade ring besar untuk persembahan belly dancing. kat dalam kawasan desert safari ini boleh free buat henna painting, hisap sisha, camel riding dan boleh ambil air berapa banyak pon, but alcohol, naik ATV, ambil gambar dengan falcon kene bayarlah.

pastu orang ini tiba2 datang kat aku, letak burung atas kepala, sabo jelah, nasib anak aku memang minat burung..kena lah bayar dalam 15dirham.


then kami semua bebas buat activiti sampai bosan sementara nak tunggu belly dancing starts and dinner siap.

Akhirnya start jugak belly dancing ni, mula2 tu ingat tarian hambar je, tapi makin lame makin menarik jugak tarian dia, seksi pon boleh tahan 😂😂😂

dalam tengah2 dancing tu, akhirnya diorang pon annouce dah boleh ambil food, so semua orang pon beratur ambil food. macam2 jenis makanan ade, tapi yang specialnya mestilah nak try kebab dan makanan arab kan..dinner and semua service ini dah lengkap dalam tour ini, agak berbaloi2 gak lah.. then Ayden pon dah start cranky sebab baju dia dah xselesa dan mengantuk, we asked them to hantar kitaorang balik hotel je. Kami pon memang dah xlarat gile sebab kepenatan xcukup tido dan we need to rest untuk bangun awal pagi for flight ke London pulak esoknya..

Day Trip In Dubai [part 1]

Assalamualaikum and happy new year everyone!


seperti yang dijanjikan, for this entry I'll share about my experience mase kat Dubai last november. Alkisahnya, masa tengah search for the best & affordable flight tickets, aku tengok Emirates ni offer paling good deal. So i propose kat my hubby nak naik Emirates Airlines and he immediately agreed, siap suruh stay kat Dubai lagi. And the best part is, if we stay or just stay for transit, the price is still the same. So ape lagi, we decided to stay one night kat Dubai (not enough gais! please stay longer!) and plan for day trip sightseeing kat Dubai. Since we doesn't have much time kat Dubai, aku pon study pasal company2 yang buat day trip sightseeing old and new Dubai dengan desert safari sekali to make our life so much easier. Unfortunately, most companies semua tawarkan desert safari with dune bashing (its thrilling and interesting, but considering Ayden's comfort and safety, I'd rather not take any chances), kalau ada pon yang takde dune bashing biasenya for private tour which is too pricey for us. Search punya search, then I found this FuntoursDubai, and luckily for us, they're on promotion for 2tour in one day for just 200dirham/person! Just what I need! Trus immediately booked the tours! They provide us day tour in the morning, and desert safari tour in the afternoon. So enough talking, let the picture do the talking..

stroller ni kami sewa from riffkids.co, highly recommended sebab sangat best nak bawa untuk travel purpose, easy to fold & carry, boleh masuk dalam cabin lagi, sangat membantu untuk kami yg banyak luggage nak handle.

Dubai kami datangggg 💃🏻💃🏻

we stayed at City Premiere Hotel Apartment kat Sheikh Zayed Road, just a few minutes walk to Burj Khalifa (which we didn't have time to go since our itinerary was too packed sobsobsob, next time baby, next time!) (credit picture from Agoda.com cause I forgot to take my own picture gagagaga)

we got an early check in, and upgraded to a bigger room for free! thus, I totally recommend this hotel 👍👍(credit picture from Agoda.com)

so after freshened up and had our breakfast at the hotel at 9am, the representative from funtoursDubai came to pick us up kat hotel, and we're ready to rock!

their representatives (forgot their names 😂😂, one is philipino, and the driver is Pakistani) was very nice and informative. They told us about the new and old parts of Dubai in the SUV.

first stop is at the Dubai Creek, I thought we could go for canal ride, but time is ticking, so just picture jelah sempat.

next, they brought us to Dubai museum, very good place to learn about the history of Dubai and Persian people.

then we went to the Gold Souk where lots of jewellery stores and souvenirs store kat situ. Diaorang jual emas rilek2 je tepi jalan gais! and they told us, the gold here is authentic cause severe punishment kalau ade org yang jual fake jewellery.

then kami dibawa ke Spice Souk, where you can find mediterranean spices, dates and nuts.

lepas tu, terus pegi jalan2 ke new parts of Dubai. We stop by at this famous mosque called Al-Rahim Mosque

not in a prayer time, so just picture for kenangan jelah

and back to our hotel, by then we are so tired cause dapat sleep dalam flight je and we were so jet lag. so xlarat nak lunch pon, trus tido je sebab petang nak pegi desert safari lak.
