Tokyo May 2015 [Part 4] - Shibazakura & Mount Fuji

Assalamulaikum gais,

today I feel so positive and bersemangat nak buat something productive, hence a final post of my Tokyo trip pon terhasil. hehe so sambung dengan hari ke 5 of our trip, we decided to go to Mount Fuji. Tak lengkap lah pergi ke Tokyo kalau tak melawat gunung Fuji ye dak? so aku pon search pasal how to go there and praying that the weather is nice and get to see Mount fuji in clear beautiful spring day.

So I came across this website yang ada menyediakan perkhidmatan day trip to Mount Fuji and tempat2 menarik di sekitar Japan. You gais can checkiout this website: www.yokosojapan-tour.com for more info ya. We book this trip - Fuji Shibazakura Festival & 210,000 tulips at 2nd station of Mt.Fuji. Western-cuisine buffet lunch.(One Day) for JPY 21,960 for two person. We were told to meet at Club Tourism Lounge, Shinjuku Sumitomo Building at 8.40am, memandangkan orang Japan sangat terkenal dengan punctuality, so kami pon gerak dari rumah awal2 pagi sebab takot kene tinggal bus..hehe.

so we meet the representative and show our booking details, mereka pon pakaikan kami button batch for our group before naik bus. On our way, the driver stop at this R&R for us to have a quick bite and go for nature call.

tido ke bang? hehee

then diteruskan semula perjalanan dalam 2 jam, sampailah ke 2nd station of Mt. Fuji. apekan daya, cuaca pada hari tu gloomy je, hence gambar2 kt lake kawaguchiko ni pon semuanya gelap dan suram, sesuram hati iols masa tu..sobs. I was told by my tourist guide, the day before the weather was sunny and nice..and suh kami repeat semula for nicer view and greater experience. sobs

some photo tuk 1 jam dia bagi masa berjimba dan bersiar2 kat lake kawaguchiko ni.

Then, weols pon dibawa makan kat one buffet restaurant yang menyediakan makanan lunch kitaorang. So, we just eat seafood and bread tuk alas perut and spend time sighseeing around the restaurant. Kat luar restaurant ni ada small taman untuk leisure. very calming with this gloomy weather..

Then we headed to Shibazakura festival which located at lake Motosu, you gais can check for more details kat website rasmi shibazakura : http://www.shibazakura.jp/eng/aboutus/. This shibazakura festival usually held from mid April to late May every year. It holds about 8000,000 shibasakura or pink moss yang bloom kat base of Mount Fuji. So memang cantik lah kat sini, but unfortunately, the weather is against us, so tak nampak sangat pon mount fuji.

But we did enjoyed this festival, kitaorang diberi masa dalam 2 jam tuk enjoy kat festival ni. So we eat roasted chestnut and sweet potato, and just take out time to stroll and take picture of remaining sakura flowers and surrounding areas.

after that, they brought us to Grinpa Tulips Festival, kalau dari sini pon sepatutnya boleh tengok tulips with Mount Fuji background, but as soon as we got here, there were fog and the gloomy weather turns to rain..sobs... so jadilah kami tengok tulips ni sambil berujan..hehehe..but i must say, it was quite romantic lah jugak bersiar2 dalam hujan berpayung ni..hehe..kat sini ada jual souvenir gak tapi agak pricey.

the view is still cantik and awesome with additional rain and fog

tapi it was supposed to look like this when the weather is sunny.

Tapi aku tetap bersyukur dapat menjejakkan kaki tengok ciptaan ilahi, alhamdulillah..maybe better luck next time..which i dont know when..hehehe

then we were going back to Shinjuku and take our train to Roppongi again to see the Tokyo tower at night.

After that, we were headed back to our home at Shibuya tuk rendam kaki sebab dah letih gile and nak do some cleaning and packing our bag tuk balik esoknya..

on the 6TH day of our trip, it is time to say goodbye..but our flight is at late afternoon, so we take our time to rest and check out late then put our luggage kat locker at Shibuya Station. Then we go to Takeshita Street tuk final round of sightseeting, makan creepe and cari souvenirs.

we also go for a walk at Yoyogi Park, memandangkan haritu is Sunday, I though it would be nice to go there to see if ada orang gather for cosplay, tapi kami tak jumpa pon, so we just spend our time there for people watching.hehe

Then, kawan shaz pon ajak lunch together as he knows we were at Tokyo, so we met him at Dog statue kat Shibuya dan lunch/dinner again at this Gyumon halal bbq (3rd time eat at this restaurant, still loving it! and now missing it!)

Thank you June for belanja us..hehee (not in the picture pon, terlupa nak amek gambar)

then we take our luggage back and take taxi to airport and balik Malaysia.. the end :)

selipar Jepun tuk kenangan ♡

Tokyo May 2015 [Part 3] - Asakusa & Skytree

Assalamulaikum gais!

sambungan untuk cite pengalaman pergi Tokyo tuk hari yang ke empat, harini kami explore bandaraya Tokyo. Target harini nak cover attractions places around the city as my hubby kata macam buat lawatan sambil belajar ahahha

ok, so lokasi pertama yang nak dituju ialah Asakusa. Asakusa ni menempatkan tokong popular Asakusa Shrine and kat sini banyak stall2 orang jual local delicacies and souviners. Not sure murah or mahal, tapi dah alang2 kat situ, aku beli je ape yg berkenan. Boleh lah dapatkan souviners macam T-shirts, keychain, magnets, kipas, dan lain2.

So kami pon berjalan bersiar2 dekat surroundings temple ni, haritu macam ramai gile orang, tapi aku ingat memang temple ni ramai orang, so aku pon layankan je.

dalam pukul 11 pagi tu, ak dah booking tuk pakai kimono with my husband from this website http://www.asakusa-7henge.com/,  harga tuk rent kimono ni 6000 Yen for both my husband and I, then plus 600 Yen tuk socks. Then kami pon meneruskan misi tuk cari kedai kimono ni dengan pertolongan Encik Pocketwifi.hhehe.

selesai pilih kimono, husband aku dipakaikan yakuta dan aku pilih komono warna pink ni tuk match with my tudung, so jadilah kimono muslimah disitu. Kami rent kimono ni tuk 4 hours tapi memandangkan kami banyak lagi tempat lain nak visit, kami pon pakai kimono tu tuk jalan2 dekat temple's surroundings je.

tengok kami gilir2 amek gambar, orang2 Japan ni banyak juga yang offer tuk ambilkan gambar for us..hehe dapatlah gambar tuk kenangan cuba kimono di Japan.hehee..

jalan2 acah2 local pakai kimono, tapi ramai je orang pakai kimono haritu, tapi kimono muslimah iols sorang je..hehehe..

lepas dah puas berposing pakai kimono, weols pon change back to our clothes and gerak menuju ke tempat makan, perut pon dah berbunyi.

rupa2 nya ada cermony dekat temple ni, patut lah ramai gile orang. Aku pon layan tengok ceremony tu, tapi agak scary juga with people pakai macamtu. huhu.

Then jalan kaki ke kedai makanan tempura ini bernama Tempura Tendon Tenya area Asakusa, aku dan shaz order set tempura udang. Alhamdulillah sedap, harga dalam 500-1000Yen tuk 1set makanan.

Selesai makan, kami pon jalan2 untuk beli souviners sikit dekat area Asakusa ni. Jumpa lah bunting macam yang Shaz cari..hehe..

Then, weols gerak ke Skytree kat area Sumida, dekat je tempat ni, cuma 2 stations away from Asakusa. Then, gerak lah tuk ambil gambar dan tengok sky tree ni which are the second tallest building after Burj Khalifa.

Then, kami gerak ke romponggi tuk naik ke Roppongi Hills. kat sini ada permandangan cantik from the top of the buiding..tapi kami tak jadi nak naik atas sebab cuaca masa tu dah nak ujan, jadi kami headed to Harajuku tuk makan kebab then baik ke our house for rest tuk rendam kaki dah sakit gile :")

Next day, kami pergi ke Mount FUji, stay tuned ya...thanks for reading
